When a new revision of a document is approved or a project's parameters change, Transmittals identifies all recipients of the previous revision and generates a new transmittal with or without user intervention. The Transmittal is packaged comprising the correct number of copies. Document revisions are then distributed to recipients on any media. Transmittals are tracked and reports are provided to identify Transmittals that are overdue for acknowledgement.
